As i went searching for sites, i see more have closed there doors
Some might say what the point of having a site with no new game or visitors.
But some of these sites have information which is valuable for mappers and modders alike. Oh well can't blame them for doing so.

dfarena, df-inside, bfm, txp Sad

With all the new games thats came out it's a wonder that games like BHD and Jo-Ops is still going, and with the issue with win 10 and the med not working for some is gonna hurt that much more. Well it's been a ride any lol, but sad though.

Hey Blade. I just discussed this with Tomkat four days ago. It is a shame to see so many closed doors, especially since the game works better now than ever before. I pulled my old laptop out to boot it up and locate newrly 2 decades worth of Delta Force data only to discover a corrupt HD.

I was crushed. I have been scouring the Wayback machine in attempts to find any lost maps/terrains/tutorials/tools that might still be hidden in a shadow somewhere.

Thanks for approving the registration. I am glad to see another site keeping the game alive.

Send me a list of what maps, tuts and tools you are after, i have a few bits laying around still.

But like yourself i did loose a lot some time back and it is a bitch to resort it out properly, lucky for me i have backups everywhere.

Between moves and 4 kids my thumb drives have disappeared. I made a ton of terrains 2003-2007 era. Hoping some of them are online. One I’m looking for most is called Central Line. It was a dual rail road terrain.

I cannot locate a working copy of TXP2 online either. So if you have that laying around it would be lovely to get again.

Sucks that a lot of these old sites contained so much info about the games that was never really released to the public. Last year I archived a TON of stuff and put it all on NovaHQ but a lot of it just can't be found anymore, lost on some random guys hard drive.

I know Q-Dad has a copy of TXP and I know BM has an archive of the old MapMakersHeaven as he sent it to me at one point.

The MapMakersHeaven archive would be invaluable to new up and coming players. As would an archive of the TXP forums. That is, if Q-Dad had made one.

I wish I had done better myself at archiving data while I was registered there and active. Relying on one harddrive didn’t work out.
