Post subject: Ladders

I have some factory buildings with internal platforms around the top of the walls. I needed some ladders to access the platforms but wanted to add them to the model. Less items to use in the map means more room for other items in map making.

Ok, make or import a ladder into 3dmax call the object 01ladder
Create a collision box call it CB01_ladder
Create a new box a little bit bigger than the ladder and CB called CL01_ladder
The CL01 is the climb function

So we have 1 object and 2 boxes
Save and export the ASE file, import into SuperOED, export and add to game.

*Note with the CL01 box i created i found i always climb up the ladder on the side of it. You have to rotate the CL01 box so it faces the front, trial and error is the only way i have found.

You don't have to have a conventional ladder you could use a drain pipe as a ladder or a pole of some type
